Family Ties

Family Ties

“Family Ties” is based on a photograph of me and my Grandpa walking down the beach when I
was a toddler. Sadly, My Grandpa is no longer with us, but my Aunt saved some of his ties, and
gave them to me to use in a quilt. I have always loved this photo of the two of us, and the ties
were the perfect frame! I keep this quilt on display in my home, and it reminds me of some of
the beautiful memories we had together.
