Orca’s Tale

Orca’s Tale

“Orca’s Tale” was created as a memorial for my beautiful border collie, Orca. The photos tell the
story of her life, from puppyhood until the end. Some of the photos are digitally printed on
fabric, while other photos are made entirely of fabric and thread. Creating this quilt helped me
to cope with the pain of her passing, and all of the photos in this quilt barely scrape the surface
of the wonderful friend and companion that Orca was.

Completed 2018, 80″x80″
